Class A CDL Strongly Preferred
Olsons Excavating & Sewer Services is seeking a Sewer & Water Pipe Laborer to join our team. This position is an important part of every excavation project, sewer and water installation and repair, product delivery, and overall jobsite success.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in working hard, staying safe, helping the team, and delivering quality results for customers. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive, professional attitude.

What You’ll Do
- Loading materials, tools, and equipment for excavation projects
- Assisting with sewer and water installation and repair work
- Working in and around trenches for storm sewer, sewer, and water service projects
- Digging with shovels and performing general physical labor on jobsites
- Using hand tools and power tools such as saws, tampers, and wrenches
- Supporting light equipment operation as needed
- Recording materials used, work performed, and hours worked accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical issues
What We’re Looking For
- CDL required; Class A with manual transmission experience strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- MVR check that meets company standards
- Commitment to following company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read and perform basic math
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 to 75 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
- Ability to perform daily start-of-day and end-of-day vehicle inspections
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light mechanical repairs
