Olsons Excavating & Sewer Services is seeking a Sewer & Drain Technician to join our team. This role is essential to keeping residential, commercial, and municipal sewer systems operating safely and efficiently.
Our technicians are often the first point of contact for customers, so we are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and representing our company with professionalism and a positive, “Can‑Do” attitude.

What You’ll Do
- Septic tank cleaning and maintenance
- Sewer line rotoring and high‑pressure jetting
- Video pipe inspection (televising)
- Lift station troubleshooting and repair
- Diagnosing system operation problems and providing effective solutions
- Recording site information and service details on daily work orders
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical issues
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with Manual Transmission and Tanker endorsement
- Valid DOT Medical Certificate
- Ability to pass pre‑employment screening, physical, drug screen, and MVR check
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds on a regular basis
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light mechanical repairs
- Ability to read and perform basic math
- Commitment to following company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and good communication with customers
- Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
